Introduction:

In this guide, we delve into the process of working with data sets in Titan Tools. You'll learn how to effectively associate different data sets to your products, set default views, and manage data between pipeline and active products. This guide is particularly useful for organizing and accessing your product data efficiently.

Working with Data Sets

1. Associating Data Sets at Parent and Child Levels:

   - You can associate multiple data sets with an ASIN, either at the parent level or the child level.

   - Working at the parent level allows all research and keyword lists to apply to all child variations.

   - For specific variations, like different versions of a product, you can associate data sets with the specific child ASIN.

2. Setting Defaults for Data Sets:

   - Within a data set, you can view all parent and specific variation data sets.

   - To change your default view, select a data set (e.g., your W sales challenge).

   - If a data set doesn’t have a 'default' tag, it’s not the default data for that parent level ASIN.

   - Change the default by selecting the three dots on a data set and marking it as the default.

   - This alters the association, so when you navigate from the dashboard to the research related to that ASIN, it directly takes you to this data set.

3. Associating Research with Child Variations:

   - If you prefer a child-level view on the dashboard, you can associate research products with that child variation and set defaults.

   - This is useful for seasonal changes or market condition shifts, allowing you to have data sets specific to those conditions.

4. Converting Pipeline Products:

   - To associate initial research with an active ASIN, go to the pipeline product.

   - Update the pipeline product by clicking the three dots and selecting the active ASIN to associate the research with.

   - Once selected, hit 'Update Pipeline Product' to re-associate the research with the active ASIN, making it active research.

   - This research will then appear in the data set view under the associated variation or parent level.

5. Setting Defaults for Active Research:

   - Once a pipeline product is associated with an ASIN, set it as the default for easy access from the dashboard.
